Healthy Movers have teamed up with the Youth Sport Trust to provide training that will inspire and support practitioners and families to develop their competence and confidence to ensure every child is physically literate.
On this programme, you will find out about the Healthy Movers “practitioner resource”, which supports the physical development component of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework. It enables settings to incorporate physical activity into everyday life and make parents aware of the importance of healthy active lifestyles and the contribution this makes to a child’s development.
You will also be introduced to the “Healthy Movers at Home resource set” – a set of games and activities to get children moving at home. These activities are designed to develop balance, movement and use objects in a fun and engaging way, and feature PJ Masks superheroes – Catboy, Owlette and Gekko.
Come and find out how you can support the physical component of the EYFS framework and alert parents to the importance of sitting less and moving more to enhance their child’s development at our Healthy Movers Training Day.
