This free session is the first step in the Mindfulness journey. Mindfulness is learning to direct attention to our experience as it unfolds, moment by moment, with open-minded curiosity and awareness. Rather than worrying about what has happened or might happen, mindfulness teaches us to respond skilfully to whatever is happening now, whether it is good or bad.
The taster will provide you with an overview of what Mindfulness is about along with guided practice interspersed with discussion, reflection and other practical exercises and details of subsequent courses you can attend. For those wishing to pursue professional development in Mindfulness, this session will provide you with details on how you might continue along your mindful pathway. Whilst for others, this may simply be some time to spend focusing on your personal wellbeing.
