Adult MHFA – one day
Teacher wellbeing and workload is a significant concern. We all have mental health, just as we all have physical health, and with headteachers, teachers, teaching assistants and administrators struggling not to succumb to the overwhelming pressures of the profession, we all need to be making efforts to create a culture of supporting wellbeing at work.
Delivered by MHFA England National Trainers with over 25 experience in the field of mental health and wellbeing, our one-day Adult MHFA England course looks at improving mental health skills, confidence and access to support, how we can reduce stigma, increase wellbeing, and encourage people to thrive at work.
Everyone who completes the course gets an MHFA manual to keep and refer to whenever they need it, and a certificate to say they are a Mental Health First Aid champion.
To end the day delegates will look at how mind-body strategies such as mindfulness are one of the best ways to combat stress and anxiety by helping to relax the body and calm the mind.
