Altrincham Grammar School for Girls are excited to be hosting an Effective Pupil Premium Strategies Knowledge Sharing Event on Monday 27 February, from 2.30pm – 3.30pm, for headteachers and senior leaders with responsibility for pupil premium.
The event will include presentations of effective practical strategies for supporting disadvantaged pupils from schools taking part in a whole school improvement programme ‘Challenge the Gap’. There will also be an opportunity to learn more about the Challenge the Gap programme, led by Challenge Partners and practitioners from Altrincham Grammar School for Girls and other schools. You will find how taking part could transform outcomes for disadvantaged pupils in your school.
Challenge the Gap began as an Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) pilot in 2012. It has now been running for four years and has been shown to support schools nationwide to break the link between poverty and poor outcomes.
Further information can be found in the Challenge the Gap Information Booklet.
If you or your pupil premium coordinator would like to attend, please confirm your attendance with Diane Pullen at firstname.lastname@example.org
