The GM Bright Futures SCITT is a dynamic, high-quality teacher training provider offering a range of school-based routes into teaching in the Early Years, Primary and Secondary sectors.
We work in collaboration with the Alliance for Learning and the Primary Alliance for Learning, a partnership of over 50 schools, colleges and universities across Greater Manchester and Lancashire.
Led by two outstanding schools (Altrincham Grammar School for Girls who lead on our secondary teacher training and St Bede Primary Academy who led on our early years and primary training), we have a proven track record of providing outstanding teacher training for over 10 years.
We offer the following routes into teaching:
- School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT)
- Early Years Teacher Status (Graduate Employment-based)
The GM Bright Futures SCITT aims to promote excellence in all aspects of education through focused, central and school-based training activities. Trainees are based in our partner schools for the duration of the programme.
