Lisa Fathers

Director of Development, Partnerships and Teaching School Hubs

Lisa is part of Bright Futures Executive Team and provided outstanding leadership for the highly successful Teaching School work of the trust prior to the creation of Teaching School Hubs. Lisa combines an executive trust wide role supporting with school improvement and leading on communications while providing executive level strategic leadership for the two designated Teaching School Hubs.

Prior to joining Bright Futures in 2015 Lisa was an Associate Headteacher and is an experienced senior leader and strategic system leader. Lisa represents the Education sector on the Mayor’s Greater Manchester’s Reform Board and works closely with health colleagues in the North West.  Lisa is a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching, Professional Associate of Leeds University Centre of Race & Decoloniality and Chairs the National ‘Well Schools’ Board.

 

Eleanor Davidson

Deputy Director of Teaching School Hub Manchester/Stockport, ITT/ECF (Alliance for Learning SCITT Director)

Eleanor has a breadth of teaching and leadership experience spanning a seventeen-year career within the education sector across a variety of age phases, schools and institutions. Eleanor has over 14 years of teaching experience within the secondary sector and over four years of leadership experience within Initial Teacher Training (ITT).

Eleanor has a wide range of leadership experience in recruiting, training and supporting trainee teachers and NQTs, and most recently she held the position of (Primary age phase) ITT Partnership Lead for Edge Hill University, leading on quality assurance across the vast and diverse ITT partnership.  Eleanor worked on both undergraduate and postgraduate Initial Teacher Training programmes including School Direct.

 

Jayne Carmichael

Deputy Director of Teaching School Hub Salford/Trafford, NPQs/CPD

Jayne’s teaching and leadership experience spans a 25 year career within the education sector across a variety of roles and responsibilities.  Jayne has over 20 years of teaching experience within the primary sector having held school-based senior leadership posts as well as a trust-level executive leadership posts.  During her time as Assistant Headteacher, Jayne led the school’s application to become a cohort 1 Teaching School.  Assuming the role of Teaching School Lead Jayne expanded the outreach work of the Teaching School with herself fulfilling the roles of a Specialist Leader of Education (SLE), ITT/School Direct Lead, NPQ facilitator and CPD programme delivery lead.

Jayne has strategic oversight for National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) across the hub areas and has oversight of the Teaching School Hub KPIs for Trafford and Salford. Jayne also has oversight of the commercial CPD offer at the Alliance for Learning which also includes various projects. Jayne works closely with the Director of Development, Partnerships & Teaching School Hubs and the other Deputy Hub Director.
